→Firstly teacher make friendly talk
with the students.
→Then the teacher show the pictures related
to water pollution from lap top to students. After that teacher ask some
questions about the picture.
Ø What do you see in the picture?
Ø Students replied that it is related to water pollution.
Ø What is the reason for water pollution?
Students replied that it is occurred due to the activities of man.
→Then teacher said that today we
discuss about the topic-water pollution.
→After that teacher give brief description
about the water pollution. Then the
teacher explains the reason for water pollution with the help of power point presentation. The reason are following:
1.
water polluted due to the washing of
dress with ditergents.
2.
Washing of cattles on the bank of
river by man and cleaning the vehicles in the side of river.
3.
Over use of chemicals and pesticides
4.
The dumping of industrial waste by
man into the river.
→Then the teacher give an open
discussion to students.The topic of discussion is that what are the water
resources polluted by man?
→ The students discuss the topic and
formulate the views.The ideas are following:
·
sea and sea pollution: the dumping of
plastic and chemicals which polluted by man.
·
River and river pollution:human and
animal waste which pollute the river water.this harm to the people and
pollute the water.
·
well and well pollution:short
distance between toilet and well.This polluted the well water.Presence of
cattle shed nearby well.
→Then the teacher codified the discussion.
→After that the teacher show the picture of Mayilamma
and the victims of Endosulfan from lap top. Then the teacher describe the
importance of the pictures. Teacher explains the role of mayilamma to fight
against coco cola company at Plachimada due to the water exploitation done by
company.Due to the functioning of the company
water from the wells are driedup.
→Then the teacher mention about the
endosulfan issue at kasargode district.
→Then the teacher
conclude the activities related to the topic. The main ideas are
following:
v man created the
atmosphere for water pollution.
v due to the involvement of
man rivers and lakes are polluted.
v we should bother about
the water conservation and work against
water pollution.
→Follow up activity: students report
the incidents related to water pollution happened in the premises of the houses.
